INCASTRI

Japanese tradition
reinterpreted in bathroom design

Designed in collaboration with renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, the Incastri collection brings the delicacy of Japanese craftsmanship and the ritual value of water into the world of bathroom design.

Inspired by traditional Japanese carpentry joints, the collection transforms taps and washbasins into sculptural elements that elevate everyday gestures into an aesthetic and sensory experience.

Incastri is born from the concept of Chōzu, the purification ritual of washing one’s hands before entering Japanese shrines. This inspiration is expressed through essential forms, where tubular elements intersect in a clean geometry, creating an almost suspended appearance and reducing design to its purest essence.

The sculptural washbasins, crafted from an innovative technical material, feature a textured finish inspired by the ancient Yakisugi technique, evoking the carbonization of wood and enveloping water as a serene and regenerative volume.

Incastri also extends its language to accessories, offering handles for doors, cabinets, and showers, allowing the creation of a coherent and visually continuous space.

Available in four versions with different finishes, including a suspended option, the collection stands out for its delicate engraved vertical textures, enhancing the tactile experience.

Incastri thus translates the principles
of Japanese tradition into a contemporary language,
where design, material, and emotion merge to redefine
our everyday relationship with water.
