Ceramic lattices are often used to create ventilated walls on facades or dividing walls in outdoor spaces.

They can also be used in interior spaces to separate rooms and create more intimate areas.

We present ICON, a simple and light ceramic piece, devoid of decorations, with a minimalist character. With a geometry that gives it an imposing symbolic and conceptual charge, created by and for architecture.

ICON is a unique piece, inspired by a structural concrete profile, with a versatile character and a modular structure that was created with the aim of becoming a symbol in architecture and decoration.

PERSONALISED FINISHES

Coloured Ceramic

The decorative possibilities of the ICON pieces do not end with the finishes offered by WOW. These pieces are made with materials resistant to heat and chemical products, that is why they can be decorated without complications, and the easiest way is by painting.

The ability of paint to transform spaces is incredible and it is also easy to apply.
Each designer can adapt the finish of the pieces according to the needs of their project, being able to choose the RAL colour that best suits their environments.

The decorative options with paint are endless. As much as everyone is capable of imagining.

To paint the ICON pieces we can use various types of paint:

Acrylic enamel: they are made with acrylic resins and are water-based. This enamel is considered easier to use than oil-based enamel.
Its main advantage is that it has very short drying times, has very little odour and does not emit volatile organic compounds, making it ideal for interior spaces.

Synthetic enamel or oil-based enamel: is an economical and versatile product, but with longer drying times. They have more body than acrylic enamels, and are very resistant to UV rays and weathering in general, so they are considered more suitable for exterior finishes

.

LAYING

ICON tiles that are laid in damp areas should be installed with a waterproof joint to prevent water infiltration and the formation of damp inside the tile.

A 5 or 6 mm joint is recommended. We recommend laying the louvres starting with a maximum module size of 325 x 325 cm.

An expansion joint is recommended between lattice modules, approximately every 4 m.
